Parippu Curry

Vegetable dish, served as a side dish.

Parippu (Green Gram): 250gms
Coconut (Grounded): 1 cup
Coconut Oil: 1 Tablespoon
Jeera: ½ Teaspoon
Curry leaves: Few
Salt: as required

Shallow fry the gram in a pan. Add water and salt to it and cook well. Crush the gram well. Grind coconut and jeera together into a paste and add it to the cooked parippu. Again Cook for 5 minutes and keep on stirring with out letting it boil out. Season curry leaves in the oil and add it to the curry.
